Description
SUMMARY (09/11/2012): At least 123 martyrs were recorded on Thursday, mostly in Damascus and Aleppo, parts of both now resemble other bombed out Syrian cities like Homs and Deir Ezzor. The most serious fighting has begun in a predominantly Kurdish area, with the FSA attacking Assad’s forces in the town of Ras al-Ayn on the Turkish border. Video has emerged suggesting the FSA engaged in the protracted fighting for the town of Haram, Idlib province, have engaged in atocities. Meanwhile the Red Cross admitted it is unable to deal with the growing humanitarian disaster, while local groups say much aid coming from the main donors and large organisations is being stolen or channelled to regime loyalists and is not reaching those most in need.
