Description

At least 134 people were martyred today, including at 16 children and 10 women. Most of the women and kids were killed when airstrikes led to massacres in Zamalka in Damascus and the town of Kafar Takharim, Idlib province. In south Damascus a microbus was shelled. Meanwhile, the FSA launched a new assault on the besieged airbase at Taftanaz in Idlib, leading to reprisal airstrikes against nearby towns and villages, as usual. Almost 5,000 martyrs were recorded in October, three quarters of them described as non-combatants. See the map for more info.
