Description

At least another 103 human beings just like you and your loved ones were killed by Assad’s forces today, mostly in Damascus, Idlib and Hama. Assad’s jets seem determined to turn the Eastern suburbs of the capital, home to around three quarters of a million people, into a giant car park. In Idlib, the FSA seized several of Assad’s checkpoints around Saraqeb. There are allegations they executed some of the prisoners. Given the scorched earth policy that Assad’s forces have pursued in Idlib province since the start of summer 2011 this should come as a surprise to nobody. In Hama, 11 men who were kidnapped by shabiha yesterday were murdered and their bodies dumped while 4 members of the same family from Kafar Zeita were tortured to death. See the map for more info.
