Description

Looks like it’s going to be another bloody Eid, at least 94 martyrs have fallen today, mainly in Damascus and Aleppo. A car bomb exploded close to a mosque in Daf Eshouk neighbourhood of the capital, killing at least 10 and wounding dozens including many kids while Assad’s forces continued their assaults on Southern and Eastern suburbs. Likewise, rebels continued their siege of the main military base outside Ma’aret an-Nu’man. Street fighting and shelling continued in Aleppo, where there were reports of clashes between the FSA and fighters from the PYD (Syrian branch of Kurdish Workers Party). Homs, Deir Ezzor, Jabal az-Zawiyah and Salqin, all remained under fire. Ceasefire? What ceasefire? See the map for more info.
