Description

At least 119 martyrs have been killed by the regime’s forces today, mostly in Damascus and Idlib. Instead of sweets, Syrians had more bombs this Eid, as Assad continues to try to cling to power through murder and destruction. 19 people were killed in the bombing of al-Barah town in Jabal az-Zawiyah, cluster bombs were dropped on Ma’aret an-Nu’man. The FSA continues to liberate the area around Salqin and Harem while 70 of Assad’s forces surrendered to Turkish border guards. Parts of the capital remain under heavy fire including airstrikes, with the FSA responding by attacking checkpoints, and a car bomb exploded in Barzeh. More burned bodies were found dumped in Deir Ezzor and a female activist from Lattakia has been reported martyred under torture. And some people are still talking about the “ceasefire”?
