Description

At least 113 martyrs have been killed by Assad’s forces today, mostly in Damascus and Aleppo. This means at least 400 people have been killed since Friday. In Damascus, a car bomb exploded in Jaramana killing 10, another 10 people were killed when a microbus in Hajar Aswad was hit by shelling. Dozens of airstrikes were launched against towns and cities across Syria – from al-Bukamal and Deir Ezzor to Aleppo, Jabal az-Zawiyah and Ma’aret an-Nu’man but the heaviest bombing was against the Eastern suburbs of Damascus (what other Air Force in history has bombed parts of it’s own capital city? Douma, the capital’s largest suburb, has been regularly bombed since June). See the map for more info.
