Description

At least 152 martyrs have fallen, mostly in Damascus where fighting continued for a 5th day. In the last 24hours 20,000 people have poured over the border with Lebanon to escape the shelling of the capital. Thousands more have fled to relatively calm areas of the city like Jaramana and Qasaa. Almost all shops are closed, as people try to avoid going out onto the streets. The shelling on Daraa province could be heard from Golan and Ramtha in Jordan. The Syrian regime even shelled a village in the demilitarised zone in Golan. The FSA took over border crossings with Turkey and Iraq, and several towns in Aleppo province have declared themselves liberated. See the map for more info.
