Description

If you look at how the repression in Syria escalated, from shooting protesters with Ak47s and rifles, to sending in the army with tanks and armoured vehicles, and when that failed Assad moved onto destroying provincial towns and cities with mortars and artillery and then helicopters. Well, today Assad entered a new stage which is shelling of Damascus with both Kufer Suseh and Barzeh areas of the capital coming under mortar fire today. Meanwhile, across the whole of Syria at least 109 martyrs have fallen including a new massacre in Treimaseh village in Hama countryside. 15-19,000 martyrs have been recorded in total and yet the protests still didn’t stop, and they won’t stop until the regime is toppled.
