Description

At least 65 martyrs fell today, mostly in Homs, Damascus and Idlib and including 3 kids in Rastan and 9 executed soldiers at Mennagh Airbase in Aleppo province. It is becoming a luxury to be buried with your body in one piece these days as Assad’s forces continue to blast away with tanks, helicopters and artillery. There is evidence that cluster bombs have been used in Hama countryside. Meanwhile, Nawaf al-Fares, Syria’s ambassador to Iraq, became the first announced defection of a high-level diplomat. The SNC leader Abdulbaset Saida was in Moscow for talks with the Russian government, though Russia still seems stuck to Assad just like Assad is stuck to the chair. See the map for more info.
