  *An urgent appeal* *To save the detainees referred to field courts * Violation Documentation Center in Syria was apprised- from reliable sources- that a number of detainees in the Deposit Lockup at the Central Prison of Adra have been transferred to field courts where they can either be sentenced to death or sent to Sidnaya Military Prison for a long prison terms. About *250* detainees- mostly revolution's prisoners or civilian activists- have been in Adra Central Prison for months in favor of the secret illegal field courts. On 17/08/2013 thirty detainees were transferred to a field court, and their destinies are still unknown till the moment. On 09.18.2013 other thirty detainees were also transferred to field courts, when the detainees carried out a hunger strike in rejection of the transfer and the unknown fate awaiting the detainees transferred. Then, hundreds of agents from the Raid Detachment went in and started beating the detainees severely and brutally before they took 24 of them to field trial and six others to solitary confinement. * VDC* in Syria appeals urgently to save the detainees in the Deposit Lockup in favor of the field courts in Adra Central Prison, and states that these military trials are absolutely secret that even the detainees do not get to know the verdicts issued against them, which are mostly death sentences or long term prison sentences in Sidnaya Military Prison.
