Lawyer and Human Rights Activist, Mohammad Burhan Ahmad Al-Saqqal tortured to death بالتزامن مع صدور مرسوم "العفو" الوهمي الذي تقريبا لم يشمل أحدا من معتقلي الثورة، ورد نبأ استشهاد المحامي والناشط الحقوقي محمد برهان أحمد السقال تحت التعذيب في أقبية المخابرات السورية. وكان المحامي السقال قد اعتقل بتاريخ 12-10-2012 وانقطعت أخباره حتى تلقت أسرته اليوم طلب استلام جثمانه من الشرطة العسكرية بدمشق. المحامي السقال متزوج وأب لخمسة أطفال، سبق واعتقل للمرة الأولى بتاريخ 30-8-2011 وأفرج عنه بعد تعرضه لتعذيب مهول حيث قام وعدد من زملائه المحامين بعرض آثار التعذيب على جسده على نقابة المحامين بدمشق التي لم تحرك ساكنا. وبعد ذلك تعرض منزله للمداهمة والتخريب من قبل قوات الأمن والشبيحة قبل أن يعاد اعتقاله في اكتوبر الماضي. مركز توثيق الانتهاكات في سوريا VDC 16-4-2013 الصورة المرفقة: آثار التعذيب على جسد المحامي برهان الصقال بعد اعتقاله الأول في اكتوبر 2011 -------------------------------- Lawyer and Human Rights Activist, Mohammad Burhan Ahmad Al-Saqqal tortured to death In conjunction with the issuance of the illusive "amnesty" that almost did not include anyone from the revolution’s detainees, it was reported that the lawyer and human rights activist Mohammed Burhan Ahmad Al-Saqqal under torture inside regime intelligence’s cells. The lawyer Al-Saqqal had been arrested on 12-10-2012 and no information on him or his whereabout were known eversince till today when his family received a phonecall from military police in Damascus to receive his body. Lawyer Al-Saqqal, married with five children, was first arrested on 30-8-2011 and was released after being subjected to enormous torture where he and several of his colleagues shown the signs of torture on his body on the Damascus Bar Association, which did not move a finger.
