  At least 80 martyrs have fallen today, mostly in Damascus and it’s suburbs which continue to take a pounding from Assad’s forces, even while the city is hosting Lakdar Brahimi who is trying to get support for his suggestion of a truce during Eid al-Adha. The regime has been dropping cluster bombs on Ma’ret Nu’man since early morning. Meanwhile, Omar al-Lattuf, an activist and member of the General Commission of the Syrian Revolution, and 7 others were arrested and killed under torture when coming back from Turkey to Homs.
