  As of the 10th of September 2011, a young doctor, Maad Mohammad Mawaheb Tayeh, was arrested while in his clinic in the city of Latakia, Syria. Dr. Maad subsequently was not released until now, and he was left without specific condemning accusations, which contradicts not only norms and laws including the Syrian Constitution, but also to all human rights. Current news report that the young dentist, and the father of four children, will be converted to the military field court which is even a new violation to the norms and customary laws of the Syrian Constitution, because of him being a civilian. In addition, his seizure forms a clear paradox with the suspension of the State of Emergency and the Martial Law, as stated by official authorities in Syria several months ago, knowing that false charges are issued against many detainees converting them to field military courts for malevolent purposes after clutching different confessions from them under implausible cruel torture. Latest news acquired is that Maad was visited by relatives at the 28th of December, 2011 in Sydnaya prison near Damascus, where implications of torture were significant. He also showed his suffering from starvation, showing that he lost about 60% of his weight. It was also discovered that Dr. Maad was presented to field military court on the 22nd of December, 2011, where all charges fabricated against him were denied by him. In the 3rd of January, 2012, Dr. Maad was visited again, and he was presented to the same court again, but the details were not identified since the detainee is not allowed any representation or defense, or a lawyer in these types of court, hence Dr. Maad can be sentenced to execution because of the false accusations by this regime, and because no lawyer can represent him in this case.
