    Summary of events in the city of Hama on Tuesday, 25 Oct 2011 As every day, the army aircraft penetrate the sound barrier in the skies of Hama, and flew low over Mehrada. Students’ demonstrations were held in Hama city, including a demonstration in Al-Taawoniya neighborhood; the demonstration issued from the schools of Ibn Khaldoun, Mukhtar Al-Asheq, Al-Yarmouk, and Uqba Bin Nafea. Another demonstration was held in the neighborhood of Gharb Al-Mashtal and it issued from the school of Bassam Hamsho. In the province of Hama, students’ demonstrations were held in Kafr Zita, demonstrators cursed the soul of Hafez [Hafez Al-Assad is the late president, a war criminal, he destroyed Hama in the 80s, and the father of the current president], and other demonstrations were held in Kafr Nabouda, Khattab, and Al-Tarimseh. In the town of Qastoun in Sahl Al-Ghab area, the army forces fired randomly at the agricultural lands surrounding the barricades-checkpoints, horrifying the residence and causing some of them to leave their homes and flee to other areas with no army presence. The Syrian television tried to trick people for interviews in Al-Asi square [in Hama city] by claiming they are from the “Russia Today” TV station, and by adding the Russian channel’s logo to their microphones. An eyewitness identified the camera man as an employee of the Syrian TV channel. An unidentified dead body was found in Sahl Al-Ghab, the victim was apparently burned and killed. Around 4 pm, 7 security and Shabiha [regime-sponsored gangs] cars arrived at Al-Hadir area [in Hama city] and arrested a man who is not older than 35 years old and works in the fishing business. Around 6 pm, there was a campaign of raids at the old Aleppo-road area [in Hama city] in the street of Al-Shallal restaurant. After nighttime prayers, a large demonstration issued from Al-Shuhada [martyrs] mosque in the neighborhood of Al-Sabouniya. The chants were: God is greater [than the oppressor], calling for freedom and the fall of the president, and in solidarity with Homs, Daraa, and other cities under attack by Al-Assad army [the regime’s army]. Demonstrations were also held in the neighborhoods of Al-Hamidiya and Al-Qusour, calling for the fall of the president. In the town of Taibat Al-Imam a large nighttime demonstration were held accompanied by the tunes of: it is time for you, Bashar, to take off and leave. Nighttime demonstrations were held also in Kernaz and Kafr Zita. The activists in the city of Souran and Taibat Al-Imam distributed- to all the shops- pamphlets calling for the [national] strike. - 7:00 p.m.: A huge explosion in the area between the towns of Khan Shikhoun and Al-Habit, the explosion was executed by the Free Syrian Army and caused much damage to the regime’s forces. - 8:00 p.m.: Firing from the checkpoints-barricades in Kafr Zita in retaliation after a nighttime demonstration was held by locals. - 8:30 p.m.: Electricity was cut off from the northern part of the neighborhood of Al-Hamidiya. Huge security reinforcements arriving to the neighborhood from the close by areas of Duwar Al-Bahra (the bond’s roundabout) and Al-Arbaeen (the 40s) neighborhood. Also large numbers of Shabiha (regime-sponsored gangs), with weapons and gear, arrived at Al-Assad medical Plaza. - 11:15 p.m.: Heavy gunfire in Sahl Al-Ghab by Al-Assad gangs, a 7 years old child was injured. A tank with 12 Shabiha in it roamed Kafr Zita terrorizing the people. And in Al-Hadir gunfire was heard. - 12:00 a.m.: The neighborhood of Al-Baroudiya was stormed by security forces and Shabiha. In Kafr Zita a warplane flew over the city.
